World class and recently restored. The Montagu Monuments, set in a purpose built chancel, at St Edmunds Church, Warkton, commemorate key members of three successive generations of the Montagu family spanning the Georgian era. Two of the monuments are designed by Roubiliac and thought to be his best works.
Meet at Warkton Church (NN16 9XH). Park in Village Hall car park. Please share cars if possible as there is limited space.
