The tour lasts 1.5 hours.
A leisurely stroll through the pretty village of Gretton looking at its history from Roman and Norman times. At one time it was the third largest village in the Rockingham Forest. Ironstone in great quantities has been extracted from the surrounding countryside. On the green are the old stocks and whipping post.
Meet at Gretton Village Green (opposite the church) High Street, Gretton. NN17 3BU
